I would need to look at that quote in the context in which it is written before commenting on that quote. When I do that I will respond further. I'm new here so I don't know if you allow one to digress off topic for a comment. But if not just delete this. I have always struggled with 'context'. Often I find it is just an excuse to not believe something. But not always. My point is that what is context to one ... is not context to another. I find that people then get off onto a discussion of context of which they strongly disagree. What I've found is that authors often do not stick to one context and will just jump from one thing to another. So to be sure of what the context is .... can be at times ... IMPOSSIBLE. At least no two people will agree. Do you get my point. It would be like trying to read their mind. Not easy. I've rarely had success in this task. I usually just read all around it as I quoted and go with the words as they speak. Here she says "He established His throne on earth by the Holy Spirit's power, to convince the world of sin ..." So, I have to believe she meant to say that. But of course I am interested in any insight you might have. I miss things ALL the time. And I also would like to know what you think about the issue of 'context'. But if you would rather move this discussion ... that is fine also.

What do you mean by isn't God everywhere?
If you are referring to God as in the Godhead, then yes, God is everywhere when referring to the 3rd person of the Godhead, namely the Holy Spirit.
But what about the Father and what about the Son? This raises an interesting question. If the throne is in Earth ... then how do they minister to the needs of heaven? From what I understand ... it is a seven days journey to get to Heaven. CET p.59 Could it be that some of the God Head have a different speed than others. And will we have a different speed compared to the heavenly angels. I hope I get blessed with burn out speed. But whatever speed I get ... I will be happy with it.

Could it be that some of the God Head have a different speed than others. And will we have a different speed compared to the heavenly angels. Jesus went to the Father and back within a day, so he must be able to go very fast. John 20 17 Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’” 18 Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord,[a] and that He had spoken these things to her. 19 Then, the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled,[b] for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them, “Peace be with you.” I'd like to consider something for a moment. Did Jesus travel faster than the speed of light? If He did not, then heaven must be less than half a light day away. But astronomers have not detected anything that close to us. If He did, then He "broke" the laws of physics, since He has a human body. Extending that, it will take 7 days for the saved to get to heaven. If the speed of that journey was limited to the speed of light, heaven must be less than 7 light days away. Again, astronomers have not detected anything that close to us. So it seems that the laws of physics will be "broken" again on that trip. Or maybe, heaven is that close, but we can't detect it. Dark matter/energy perhaps? If so, heaven is over 20 times the mass/energy of everything else that we can detect, combined. That's pretty big. And now, back to our regularly scheduled topic...

1 John 5:11-13 And this is the testimony, that God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life.

The light God created on the first of day of creation week was, most likely, altered or removed when A&E sinned. Could it be the absence of this light makes it impossible for us to see heaven and the throne of God? Perhaps it is closer than we know?

I thought we had determined that His throne was on Earth? At least nothing against what EGW said has been posted here.

I'm confused. I thought we had determined that His throne was on Earth? At least nothing against what EGW said has been posted here. I don't believe that quote was meant to be taken literally. If God's throne was literally here, we should be able to easily detect it. Aside from the huge amounts of light, there would also be the huge number of sinners consumed by its presence. We wouldn't miss it. Check this one out: As a personal Savior He intercedes in the heavenly courts. Before the throne of God in our behalf ministers "One like the Son of man." Daniel 7:13. {Ed 131.1} Jesus ministers before God's throne in heaven.

IAH, do you have a name?
What makes you think God's throne is on earth right now? Where is it?

I happen to believe in Ellen White. I don't believe she would make this statement if it were not true. "Having given Jesus, the great Gift, God gave all heaven with Him. He would bless immeasurably the great groundwork of the redemption of a lost world; He would surround the world with favours; He would heap gift on gift; and He opens for all who, through faith in Christ, will receive His gift, the treasures of eternal life. He established His throne on earth by the Holy Spirit's power, to convince the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment; that Christ, through His Holy Spirit, might live in all the powers of the soul, sending through it a perpetual current of joy and blessedness in obedience to all of God's commandments. These commandments are given to counter-work the working of Satan, who impels the human family to disobedience of God's plainly expressed will." BEcho, June 17, 1895 par. 4 I AM HIS.

It has been my understanding the the Father's throne is mobile, if that be the case, another possibility could be that the Father had move his throne closer to our plant during the Son's stay?
