Jesus set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens when He ascended after the resurrection.

The myriad of angels adore and worship Him for what He has accomplished for the salvation of men. The Seven Angels now ready to pour out
the cup of the wrath of God to the wicked but God the Father has not command them to do so yet. The voice of God from the temple comes out
only at the close of probation.

Rev. 7:12 "Amen,...Amen" all the angles around the throne sing the sevenfold praises.
Rev. 15:1 "And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God."
Rev. 9:13 "And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God." The temple has the four horns and the voice is God's command.

The Seven Angels portray all the angels in heaven. In biblical interpretation, the word seven represents completion and perfection. They were wearing "...having their breasts girded with golden girdles" (Rev. 15:6), which implies their standing location is before the throne of God, where Jesus also sits.

"Then the seven angels came out of the temple, carrying the seven plagues..." (Rev. 15:6). The sounding of the sixth trumpet signifies the close of probation. Jesus' ministry on the Day of Atonement is now finished as God the Father responds to Jesus's pleas. The mark of the close of probation has indeed come at this point.

Two events must happen before Jesus' second coming according to the prophecy.

1) The Seven Plagues

2) Close of Probation

I wonder which events come first? God sounded the warnings of close of probation within the Seven Trumpets' message.

I perceive the evidences of the seven plagues in this world already happening as the seven trumpets voiced: pestilences, pollutions, deceptions, corruptions in systems, apostate religions and
ecumenism movement etc., etc.

God will not do anything unless He reveals His secret to His servants. The Seven Plagues are the fulfillment of the Seven Trumpets' warning.

Amos 3:7 "Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets."

In fear and trembling heart, we need to proclaim the Seven Trumpets' message for the Day of the Lord is coming.

Zephaniah 1:18 "Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the Lord's wrath;
but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy:
for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the land."

Though the spiritual Babylon is in a condition of fallen, it will not collapse unless the Seven Trumpets' message proclaimed.

1 Cor. 14:8 "For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle?"

The reason why we couldn't challenge the great city Babylon is because of the misinterpretation of the Seven Trumpets as the historical events.

Notice that the Seventh Seal, which signifies the end of the world, broke. Then, the Seven Trumpets appeared in the unfolding of the prophetic visions.

We see internal coherence in the overview of Revelation that the Seven Trumpets(Ch. 8-11) has a clear relationship to the fall of Babylon(Ch. 17-18).

Also, the seven feasts of OT testify a concise paradigm: the length of the feast of unleaven bread is 7 days;
the feast of tabernacle is 8 days;
the feast of trumpets before the Day of Atonement is 9 days.

I believe that 2,000 years since Jesus' resurrection and ascension has allusion to the feast of trumpets as a warning message, not as events, considering the significant mark of the year 1844.

Rev. 10:7 "But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets."

God's people have to sound the alarm of the Seven Trumpets as God intended and designed as so. Then, the spiritual Babylon will collapse and Jesus will come.

1 Cor. 14:8 "For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle?"

Revelation begins with "a great voice, as of a trumpet" (Rev. 1:10) on the Lord's day, the Sabbath. Seventh-Day Adventists should pay attention to this trumpet's sound! The call to action has been given!

The sound of the trumpet grows louder, drawing our attention to the throne of God, where the investigative judgment is open for humanity.

In Revelation 4:1, it says, "...I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me..."

A moment of half-hour silence intensifies the significance of the following seven trumpets.

The seven trumpets are connected to the seven plagues, and their descriptions correspond. They warn of the upcoming events that will be realized in the seven plagues, a perfect and complete warning of the seven.

2 Chron. 20:15, 20, "...Thus saith the?Lord?unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's."

"...Believe in the?Lord?your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper."

David confidently shouted at Goliath, knowing that the battle belonged to God. Despite Goliath's loud voice, David trusted in God's authority and power in heaven. Goliath's voice did not intimidate David. From the initial encounter with Goliath, David spoke in a loud voice.

Just as David was fearless in the face of Goliath, SDA will be like David. We hear "a great voice, as of a trumpet," guiding us to participate in the work of the salvation of men. Because the battle belongs to the Lord God, we must endure patiently in the truth until the end.

Revelation contains numerous loud and powerful voices, but none originate from Satan. While Satan's voice may appear impressive to humans, it holds no significance before our mighty God.

2 Chron. 20:15, 20, "...Thus saith the Lord unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's."

"...Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper."

In overview of Revelation, the Holy Spirit inspired John from the onset of visions.

The Seven Churches (Ch. 1-3); John was in the spirit on the Lord's day(Rev. 1:10).

Throne Room investigative judgment (Ch. 4-5); John was in the spirit to see the throne room (Rev. 4:2).

The Seven Seals (Ch. 6-7); the interlude(Ch. 7) between 6th and 7th emphasizes the seal of God, the Sabbath.

The Seven Trumpets (Ch. 8-11); the interlude(Ch. 10) between 6th and 7th emphasizes the Lord of the Sabbath(Ch. 10:6).

Unmasking Satan's Identity (Ch. 12-14); revealed Satan's ID before the punishment of the Seven Plagues.
counterfeit Sabbath=the mark of the beast (Ch. 13).
The Seven Plagues (Ch. 15-16); the most wicked and impenitent receive the full cup of the wrath of God.
Rev. 16:9, 11 "...and they repented not to give him glory.; ...and repented not of their deeds."
In the overview, it is clear the Holy Spirit empowers saints who keep the Sabbath day. In other words, the Sabbath is the day to receive the Holy Spirit.

People entering the Seven Churches are judged in the throne room and sealed after examination. Only the sealed individuals would know how to sound the Seven Trumpets.

In the Advent movement, people have a prophetic message about the Sabbath. Chapter 10, verse 11, states, "...thou must prophesy again..." As verse 6 mentions of Him, "who created heaven,... and the earth,...and the sea".

Revelation 9:4-6 states that men who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads will be tormented.

God's sealing is significant to the seven seals in Chapter 6.
The process of initiating the judgment by breaking the seal began when Jesus was found worthy to break the seven-sealed books held in the right hand of God the Father (Rev. 5:1). The investigative judgment in the throne room is vividly depicted in the vision of the seven seals (Rev. 6) with a rich historical background.

In Revelation 7, an angel from the east instructs not to harm the earth and the sea until the sealing is complete. When the seven seals are all broken, harm to the earth and the sea will occur.

According to Revelation, the period of torment caused by the lack of God's seal occurs before the breaking of the seventh seal. The stark information is that the duration is five months(Rev. 9:5, 10).

Between the sixth and seventh of the seven seals, there is a command not to harm the earth and the sea until the sealing of God, which serves as a signpost for the Sabbath truth.

Between the sixth and seventh trumpets, there is a command to prophesy worldwide about the discovery after the sweet and bitter experience, highlighting the importance of the Sabbath truth.

The Sabbath represents God's sealing. The Advent movement led to the proclamation of the Sabbath truth for five months, prophetically 150 years, that the Sabbath is God's seal.

Rev. 10:7 "But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets."

Seventh-day Adventists need to proclaim the importance of receiving God's seal by understanding the seven angels' message so that the world can hear the final warning about the Sabbath and be sealed by God. According to Revelation, those who refuse to accept the truth about the Sabbath will experience spiritual torment. They will seek death but not find it, and death will flee from them (Rev. 9:4-6).

Let?s start over again in studying Revelation.

What would be the most effective way to study and give us crystal clear understanding, for God intended us to grasp the meaning.
I find well-meant approach fails, because the analysis of the discourses was divided by personal preferences in diverse ways that do not bring the whole picture together.

How about that we look at the overview first.

The first three chapters are about the seven churches.

Next, comes the throne room in heaven where heavenly beings are gathered to investigate those who came into the church and profess to be believers. The throne room vision is chapters 4 and 5 where the judgment of God happens on every person in earth.

The vision in Chapters 6 and 7 is about the seven seals. After scrutinizing in the investigative judgment in Ch. 4-5, the heaven seals the saints. So, we can see why the chapters 4-5 serve as introduction for the body of the seven seals.

The flow of the visions in Revelation leads us to an understanding of the seven trumpets. Those who are not repented of their sins and accepted the salvation in Jesus Christ will receive a severe punishment and must face their destruction as the warning of the seven trumpets have indicated.

The chapters 8 thru 11 take largest segment of Revelation and say ?woe, woe, woe?. The implication of indifference to the warning of the woes, will result just as what has been described in the seven plagues.

Through the seven trumpets message, Satan?s identity is unmasked in Chapters 12, 13, and 14. There is no other books of the Bible tells us the origin of sin and iniquity as here in Ch. 12. Satan and his agent, the beast, appear in these chapters and will be confronted with the remnants of God by 3 angels' message. The saints who keeps the commandment of God and have the testimony of Jesus will proclaim louder than ever what is the present truth.

God always warns before the punishments of the seven plagues. People on earth have to make a final choice whom they want to pay allegiance, then the seven plagues are going to be poured upon the earth to those who rejected Christ. The chapter 15 serves as introduction to the body of the seven plagues in chapter 16.

Simultaneously, when the seven plagues are falling, the spiritual Babylon will be collapsed as the Chapters 17 and 18 portray.

Chapter 19 scene is about the second coming of Jesus. It's not hard to understand the theme in this chapter.

Millennium begins and the saints will review God's righteous judgment. The context of Chapter 20 connected with Chapters 4-5 in the theme of the judgment of God.

The new heaven and new earth vision is described in Chapter 21. The earthly church is the gateway to New Jerusalem.

Chapter 22 is conclusion of Revelation.

Blessings,

Karen

God graciously reveals His secrets to those who fear and honor Him. He equips His people with understanding Revelation when they demonstrate obedience and reverence.

"The secret of the LORD is with them that fear Him; and He will show them His covenant." (Psalms 25:14)

The wisdom contained in Revelation is not only for pastors, theologians, or scholars alone; it is open to anyone willing to be a disciple of Jesus. As Jesus encourages us, "Blessed are those who read."

A dedicated student of the Bible will actively engage with and cherish the teachings found in this prophetic book.

"The Lord Himself revealed to His servant the mysteries contained in this book of Revelation, and He desires that they shall be open to the study of all." (AA 584)

The Book of Revelation compellingly unveils the church's past, present, and future, emphasizing the significance of recognizing the opposing forces that shape its journey.

In Revelation 1:4, we find, "John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from Him which is, and which was, and which is to come."

Revelation 17:8 tells us, "The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition."

**The Church and the Beast**

The messages to the seven churches reflect the different phases of the church's journey throughout history and into the future. The Great Controversy between Christ and Satan is vividly depicted, highlighting the church's struggles and ultimate victory. Jesus Christ, as the head of the church (Colossians 1:18), guides His followers, who are members of His body.

When the pure woman in Revelation 12:1 faces the dragon, Jesus stands ready to advocate for His people: Jesus and the church are one. The dragon?s agent, symbolized by the Beast, has been attributed authority in religious, political, and economic matters. As reformers in the past have pointed out, this agent is often identified with Catholicism.

Thus, we can view the seven churches and their opposing forces as illustrations of Catholicism across past, present, and future contexts.

The visions in Revelation chapters 12, 13, and 14 provide a cohesive portrayal of the contrasting roles between the pure woman (symbolizing the seven churches) and the Papacy. The dragon has already initiated the inevitable clash between these opposing forces, as cited in Revelation 12:17, targeting those who keep God?s commandments and hold the testimony of Jesus Christ.

This call to action is particularly relevant today, as Jesus has given us guidance on how to confront the Beast. The secrets of the dragon have been revealed, and the Book of Revelation serves as a powerful tool for Jesus' followers to navigate and combat the challenges they encounter.

Past, present and future => the seven churches.

Past, present and future => the beast's power that parallels the seven churches.

The pure woman = the seven churches

The beast = Satan's agent

The beast's seven heads are the opposing forces to the seven churches over the historical church periods.

Satan's brain power to attack the seven churches is signified as having the seven heads of the dragon.

Rev. 12:3 "And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads."

Dragon's intention is to seize the woman's crown, which is denoted as the dragon's head with crowns, but the crown is only granted to the seven churches (Rev. 2:10).

The past, present and the future of the beast's existence are self-evident by Satan's relentless assaults against the seven churches.

Rev. 13:2b "...and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority."

Satan gave his power (=religious power), his seat (=political power), and great authority (=economic power) to the beast. And the beast exercised the powers
that the dragon gave him.

There is only one religious power in the world that has manifested such the controlling powers of the three: Catholicism.

Since 538 AD until 2024 AD => 1486 years. During the time, Catholic built a giant of infrastructure to control the world and to think to change the times and the laws of God.

However, SDA movement points out the Sabbath truth to debunk the claim of Catholic; it has been already 180 years since 1844.

The fifth trumpet message reveals the deception of the devil. Rev. 9:4 "And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads." Whosoever not seal of God will be hurt. In other words, the Sabbath will protect people who accept it, but not the other way. Those who reject the Sabbath, they will be tormented.

Rev. 9:5 "And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man."

The five months signifies a time period of proclamation about the Sabbath truth by SDA.

Blessed are those who have the seal of God!
