What Would Jesus Do - WWJD. It's a popular Christian saying and bumper sticker. But is it sound doctrine? Or is it a clever demonic deception to get our eyes off Jesus?
Matthew 18 20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the midst of them.
Jesus is with us always, so why would we ask someone else or ourselves what Jesus would do in a given situation? why not ask Him!! But if we go around ignoring Jesus and asking others or ourselves what Jesus would do, are we not deceived?

Wow Mike, this WWJD acronym sure has some people thinking (very deeply) In my understanding there is no conspiricy to turn peoples attention away from Christ through the "WWJD" statements. I have seen many youth, and youthful people here in Moncton that wear the WWJD bracelette and when I have had opportunity, I have greated them with an answer...LOVE. They respond to me with "what"? and I then tell them that I noticed there bracelette Question: WWJD? Answer: LOVE! then as we depart, there is always a statement of Christian truth, "God Bless you" It is really simple so let's not make it so "difficult" the simple question of "What would Jesus do"? should always be on our mind. We are supposed to reflect His love to others... PS let's all FROG (fully rely on God) or maybe we should all PUSH (pray untill something happens) one thing I know for sure, we should all Love. God bless you Mike, it has been too long since I last saw you here in the Maritimes, we miss you here, Shalom.

Daniel, you're right. For people who don't think deeper, the question WWJD, can be meaningful. I've also had positive encounters, like the one you described, but it goes something like this - "What does WWJD stand for?" "What Would Jesus Do," they answer (some people actually didn't know). "I don't know, why not ask Him," I reply. And in every case they were encourage by the idea of going directly to the Bible and Jesus to get the answer to the question.
Yeah, I miss the Maritime church family too. I keep hoping someday I'll get a call to serve as Campmeeting Teen Tent speaker or YOuth Rally speaker.

Right on Mike, it comes down to situational evangelism. And the evangelism is through each of us. You sure got me thinking...even on a logo like WWJD. God bless you as you work in His service! ....an important question that I ask (in my mind) when I think "WWJD" is what will I do? Will I reflect Christ or the enemy? Praise God that he loves us even when we do not reflect His character...God isn't finished with us...please be patient! Shalom, peace be with you. Daniel of Moncton.

Something really funny happened to me last year. A little girl that I know gave me a pair of long dangling ear rings as a gift that had the initials:
W W J D
The letters were vertical like above. I was quite amused that a pair of ear rings would have that inscription. I brought the present home and showed them to my husband who wasn't really interested in the ear rings. I pointed to them laughing and said, "What would Jesus do." I wasn't asking a question, I was telling him what the initials meant. As I said he wasn't really listening so I repeated what I said. He just kept looking at me and saying, "What do you mean?" I'd repeat what I'd said and he kept asking what I meant. I was nearly in tears I was laughing so hard. Finally in disgust he said, "I guess He'd wear them! He wouldn't want to hurt that little girl's feelings." I just about collapsed. We finally got everything straightened out. I still have the earrings and I smile every time I look at them. (I only look as I don't wear earrings especially the pierced kind.)
Faith WWJD!!!
