Also this is about the Bible, not about the Law and Judgment, and the Sabbath. These are contained int he Bible so lets look at the Bible as a WHOLE.. In its ENTIRETY. I had heard or read somewhere that there are 2 types of Bibles (excluding the mormon Bible). These are the 'Protestant' and the 'Catholic' Bible. What are the differences? The Protenstant has 66 books, and the Catholic one has a few more? It was something along those lines etc etc.. So when God revealed His Word to the prophets this was for all of us. Naturally I still see corrption in the high places in office much like back in those times. I still see persecution, and have even experienced what it's like to be prejudiced against or to lose friends for what I believe, and this is in the 21st century! The Owrd of God still stands true, and the many examples and lessons God shows us in His Word is not to be taken lightly.. Do I sacrifice sheep.. no, do I know what the sacrifice meant yes. So let's see was the Bible for Israel, Jews, or for all mankind.. I will say for all mankind, but not all mankind will accept it or believe it. I know of a family member who has read the Bible and denies it....to each his\her own.. God Bless, Will

No, this is not about the bible Will, it’s about Jesus. Jesus and the disciples did not have the NT, all they had was the OT and Jesus words.
“1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2He was with God in the beginning. 3Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4In him was life, and that life was the light of men. 5The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it.” John 1
Jesus was all the words of God, the OT law and the prophets contained in one person. So the truth about the bible is that the OT is revealed through Jesus life and words, because he is it in the flesh. So one does not need to know the OT, because we see it through Jesus.

That's right it's all about Jesus. He is our example.

He is your example in what?
Love for fellow man?
Keeping ALL the Jewish customs and laws?
quote:
At the same time you cannot do violence to the Word of God and determine what is useful and what can be thrown away based on your preconceived notions. To say one doesn't need to know this or know that is really relative to the person saying it in this case you. It may not be important to you to know the Bible, but maybe a few books is all you need who knows..who cares
No Will, you need to realize how you are saved and who is your master. Is Jesus your master or the law that he created? Do you worship the creator or what he created (law)?
Jesus IS the word of God made flesh. That means that HE is all we need to know, period!
If you doubt this than you need to check yourself for who or what is really your savior, Jesus or the law?
