Elder Alfred C. McClure, former president of the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists, passed away on Tuesday, August 1, at the age of 74.

How sad to hear that. I went to Academy with his kids. A good guy IMO. His leadership in North America was of high value IMO.

I am sad to hear this. He was our Pastor for a long time at Central Church in St. Louis and was greatly admired.
