I like the Memory Text, quoted below: "By the word of the Lord were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.... For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast" (Psalm 33:6, 9). This is how we got here. We didn't get here by some cosmic explosion that evolved into this planet with all the air, water, vegetation, animal life, human life, etc. We didn't come from the monkey as some try to tell us.

Genesis 1:1 KJV 1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. This is the most important text in the Bible. As the lesson says, "Out of it and all that it contains flows everything else that we as Christians believe."

Daryl wrote: "If the light were the light of God's presence, then why did God say, 'Let there be light'?" Heavenly introduction? Maybe I'm just not a good guesser?
