It appears the political/social/religious Hegelian dialectic being pulled over the eyes of the populace is about to pendulum from the extreme left to the right. In Europe and Canada, the left is rapidly losing power. Will the swing to the extreme right bring about the religious persecution spoken of in Revelation?

It seems to be leaning that way.

From what I read, (which isn't that much in American politics) but it seems to me the Democrat party is in a real bind. Biden hasn't officially stepped down yet. His dragging feet are causing a real problem. Time is running out for a new candidate to be placed. The Democratic National Convention in Chicago, Illinois is August 19-22 and will conclude with the party choosing its nominee for 2024. But that does not guarantee that whoever is chosen will be supported. Kamala Harris seems to be a top prospect. Others place hopes on Michelle Obama, Gavin Newsome from California, and several other so called "popular" governors in various states. So everything is sort of "up in the air", there.
It does look like there is a strong swing in politics to the right. Not just in the USA but also in Canada and Europe. The last few decades have seen a tremendous assault on many of the core values of these nations. The culture has been changed, to the discomfort and consternation of the generations who remember what "normal" used to be. It's not just religionists, but people who have had enough of the extreme push to the left, and want to return the pendulum back to what they consider "normal".
Prophecy predicts this swing to the right -- a swing that will not stop at the "old normal" of a few decades ago, but will swing way over to the right.
One caution however, as another poster mentioned. Those political parties all sit at the same table. There are powers (not just human) who are shaping the world for the last crises, they are capable of reaching their "solution" through either party as they are building both secular and moral platforms from which to control the world and bring about the final crises. The left is just as capable of enforcing Sunday laws on the "secular" platform as is the right side. Though I'm not sure they would advance it to the worship (must worship on Sunday and desecrate the true Sabbath) stage. That last stage is achieved when the "churches" {Protestant churches join with RC) to control the government in order to demand that worship.
