It would seem from what they say on radio programs on religious developments in europe that the groups who are most likely to work towards more political christianity are the extreme rightwing/nationalist parties whom wants to move toward christianity to fend off islam from europe. Groups who are fencesitting just around where nazism and facism meet more acceptable and accepted political positions. Might it even be that a modearate socialism is europes best bullwark against politicised church in power?
