Tom, since you seem to have a better grasp of where things have gone awry, where I have gotten off track, where my thoughts do not make sense or do not apply to anything you're talking about, etc, please take a minute to enumerate the points you feel need to be discussed. I'm not whining or complaining (just in case it sounds like it). I really would appreciate it if you would organize the points we need to discuss.

MM, I think posts 116947 and 116954 were key posts in this discussion. Mark's idea seems to be that the measuring process started after 1844. I'd like to understand his idea better.
I've been saying I think his idea is possible. That is, I don't see why it shouldn't be. But then, I don't understand it that well.
Anyway, his ideas have prompted me to take a view of the IJ that may be a combination of corporate and individual.
Those who wait for the Bridegroom's coming are to say to the people, "Behold your God." The last rays of merciful light, the last message of mercy to be given to the world, is a revelation of His character of love.
