R: God has chosen, not individuals, but a class of people to be saved - those who accept His grace, those who accept Christ as their Savior, or, in EW's words, those who "have a character in harmony with His law." T: I think God will take everybody to heaven that will be happy there.
R:But those who don't "have a character in harmony with His law" won't be happy there. One could put it that way, or one could simply say that those who don't have a character in harmony with God won't be happy there. We should bear in mind that those who are resurrected in the second resurrected aggressively act against God in a violent way. This suggests a deep-seated hatred of God, which is a big problem. Such not only do not have a character in harmony with God's law; they hate God!
Those who wait for the Bridegroom's coming are to say to the people, "Behold your God." The last rays of merciful light, the last message of mercy to be given to the world, is a revelation of His character of love.

Very true, and very sad. Ellen wrote: Notwithstanding that Satan has been constrained to acknowledge God's justice and to bow to the supremacy of Christ, his character remains unchanged. The spirit of rebellion, like a mighty torrent, again bursts forth. Filled with frenzy, he determines not to yield the great controversy. The time has come for a last desperate struggle against the King of heaven. He rushes into the midst of his subjects and endeavors to inspire them with his own fury and arouse them to instant battle. But of all the countless millions whom he has allured into rebellion, there are none now to acknowledge his supremacy. His power is at an end. The wicked are filled with the same hatred of God that inspires Satan; but they see that their case is hopeless, that they cannot prevail against Jehovah. Their rage is kindled against Satan and those who have been his agents in deception, and with the fury of demons they turn upon them. {GC 671.2} They hate God as much as Satan does. Very, very, very sad. They turn upon one another and a blood bath follows. Next, Jesus rains fire down upon them and each one suffers according to their sinfulness. So, so very sad.

They hate God as much as Satan does. Very, very, very sad. They turn upon one another and a blood bath follows. If a blood bath follows, then they're dead. Next, Jesus rains fire down upon them and each one suffers according to their sinfulness. Except that they're dead, so they can't suffer, because of the blood bath. A blood bath is a massacre, which means to "kill a large number of people indiscriminately." Also if sin causes suffering, misery and death to those who practice it, it wouldn't be necessary to artificially apply some external sort of misery, suffering and death on top of that. Also, don't you think God could think of some more humane was of punishing people than by burning them? Aren't we confusing characters here? That is, of Jesus Christ and Satan? Who is it that causes misery, suffering and death? How did Jesus react when He was urged to have fire come down from heaven? "You know not of what spirit you are."
Those who wait for the Bridegroom's coming are to say to the people, "Behold your God." The last rays of merciful light, the last message of mercy to be given to the world, is a revelation of His character of love.
