Jesus said in Matthew 24:28 "Wherever the corpse is, there the vultures will gather". This is at the end of his prophecy about the dark ages. This prophecy from the mouth of Jesus was condemning the Jesuit order. Jesuits have the motto "perinde ac cadaver", "well-disciplined like a corpse", the very image Jesus was warning us about.
After Matthew 24:28 is the prophecy of the sun being darkened and the moon not giving her light, which was fulfilled in the great dark day of 1780. "May 19, 1780, stands in history as “The Dark Day.” Since the time of Moses no period of darkness of equal density, extent, and duration, has ever been recorded. The description of this event, as given by eyewitnesses, is but an echo of the words of the Lord, recorded by the prophet Joel, twenty-five hundred years previous to their fulfillment: “The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the Lord come.” Joel 2:31. {GC 308.1}
James White in 1886 wrote about the Jesuits and the fulfillment of this prophecy,
“The End of the Tribulation of Those Days” The Signs of the Times 12, 31, p. 487.
Christ said: ‘Immediately after the tribulation of those days, shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light.’ Now what we want to get at is, What great event shows the end of the days of tribulation?” “The Order of Jesuits services to Roman Catholicism have been incalculable. The Jesuits alone rolled back the tide of Protestant advance when that half of Europe which had not already shaken off its allegiance to the Papacy, was threatening to do so, and the whole horrors of the counter-reformation are theirs singly.”—Encyclopedia Britannica, art., Jesuits, par. 11. {SITI August 12, 1886, p. 487.9} As the Inquisition was the tribulum by which the Papacy inflicted such sore tribulation upon the church, and as the Order of the Jesuits was the strength of the Inquisition, therefore we believe that the abolition of the Order of the Jesuits is the event that marks the end of the tribulation. They had been expelled from Portugal in 1753, from France in 1761, and from Spain in 1767; but these decrees could not be permanently successful as long as the Jesuits retained their Order intact, and had the support of the Pope. But it was not long before the Pope was forced to turn against them, and the final crash came. Of this event we give the following narrative:— {SITI August 12, 1886, p. 487.10} “At last came the final blow that was to shatter into pieces the great army of Loyola. For more than two centuries the Jesuits had been lighting the battles of Rome. To exalt the supremacy of the Pope, they had died by thousands in English jails and Indian solitudes, had pierced land and sea to carry the strange story of the primacy to heathen millions, and to build anew the medieval church in the heart of Oriental idolatry. And now it was the Pope and Rome that were to complete their destruction. BY a cruel ingratitude, the deity on earth whom they had worshiped with a fidelity unequaled among men, was to hurl his anathemas against his most faithful disciples. France and Spain elected Pope Clement XIV. upon his pledge that he would dissolve the Order. He issued his bull July 21, 1773, directing that, for the welfare of the church and the good of mankind, the institution of Loyola should be abolished.”—Historical Studies, Id. {SITI August 12, 1886, p. 487.11} For these reasons we believe that the abolition of the Order of Jesuits is the event, and July 21, 1773, is the date, when “the tribulation of those days” ended. {SITI August 12, 1886, p. 487.12}
The book 'History of Protestantism' says;
"The Professed Members (of the Jesuits) constitute the society par excellence. They alone know its deepest secrets, and they alone wield its highest powers. But perfection in Jesuitism cannot be reached otherwise than by the loss of manhood. Will, judgment, conscience, liberty, all the Jesuit lays down at the feet of his General. It is a tremendous sacrifice, but to him the General is God. He now takes his fourth, or peculiar vow, in which he binds himself to go, without question, delay, or repugnance, to whatever region of the earth, and on whatever errand, the Pope may be pleased to send him. This he promises to the Omnipotent God, and to his General, holding the place of God. The wisdom, justice, righteousness of the command he is not to question; he is not even to permit his mind to dwell upon it for a moment; it is the command of his General, and the command of his General is the precept of the Almighty. His superiors are “over him in the place of the Divine Majesty.” 18 “In not fewer than 500 places in the Constitutions,“says M. de la Chalotais, “are expressions used similar to the following: - “We must always see Jesus Christ in the General; be obedient to him in all his behests, as if they came directly from God himself.’” 19 When the command of the superior goes forth, the person to whom it is directed “is not to stay till he has finished the letter his pen is tracing,” say the Constitutions; “he must give instant compliance, so that holy obedience may be perfect in us in every point-in execution, in will, in intellect.” 20 Obedience is styled “the tomb of the will,” “a blessed blindness, which causes the soul to see the road to salvation,” and the members of the society are taught to “immolate their will as a sheep is sacrificed.” The Jesuit is to be in the hands of his superior, “as the axe is in the hands of the wood-cutter,” or “as a staff is in the hands of an old man, which serves him wherever and in whatever thing he is pleased to use it.” In fine, the Constitutions enjoin that “they who live under obedience shall permit themselves to be moved and directed under Divine Providence by their superiors just as if they were a corpse, which allows itself to be moved and handled in any way.” 21 The annals of mankind do not furnish another example of a despotism so finished. We know of no other instance in which the members of the body are so numerous, or the ramifications so wide, and yet the centralisation and cohesion so perfect. {HOPV2 392.1}
Mrs Ellen white in describing the persecution of John Hus by the Jesuits said;
"God is infallible. God has spoken by Solomon that He “requireth that which is past” (Ecclesiastes 3:15). He “seeks again” that which is past. The body of Huss was consumed (by fire). The council had done all that they could do with the man whose only crime was that he could not accept as infallible the council of Constance and he could not let their voice stand above the voice of God in His Word. But God “seeks again that which is past” recalling all the proceedings whether of judgment or of mercy. He recalls all the doings of different ages and repeats them in the present generation. It is for this reason that there is such value in the registered experience of the believers of other days. The biography of the righteous is among the best treasures that the church can possess. We have the benefit of the accounts of the workings of the power of evil in contrast to the deeds of those who through many centuries were living by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. This rich experience is bequeathed to us as a legacy of great value. When history shall be repeated, when the great men of earth will not come to the Bible for light and evidence and truth, when the commandments of men shall be exalted above the commandments of God, and when it shall be regarded a crime to obey God rather than the laws of men, then we shall not have to tread a path in which we have had but few examples of others who have gone before us. {9MR 275.1}
This is a major discovery in scriptural support of what my God has shown me that I did not know until the eighth king of Revelation 17 had come. Pope Francis I is a Jesuit and will now bring the power of the beast of the Dark Ages back to persecute God's people. We are going to see the persecution spoken of against God's people and the second coming of Jesus in our lifetime if we make it through the persecution. I know this with all my soul because God has warned me for us.
Search me oh God and know my heart, test me and know my anxious thoughts, see if there is any offensive way in me and lead me to the way everlasting. Amen

Persecution will sift SDA membership. Many, so many, will abandon ship and join the ranks of opposition. Very sad.

WARNING; I am not advocating reading the statements from the visionaries of Mary.
But something in the headlines recently caught my attention in the Spirit of God.
On March 4th 2013, in Buenos Aires Argentina, Marian Visionary Ivan Dragicevic walked into a stadium in front of 5,500 people and had a vision of an apparition of Mary. He said she told them to wake up. Then a couple of days later the little known Cardinal from Argentina Jorge Mario Bergoglio gets elected as pope and becomes Francis I the first JESUIT POPE! Does this ring any bells or cause anyone else to get goose bumps?
As Archbishop of Buenos Aires, Pope Francis opened his diocese to Medjugorje priests, and asked Fr. Jozo Zovko to bless him. And shortly before he left for the papal conclave in Rome, he approved of visionary Ivan Dragicevic’s public apparition arrangements that drew 10,000 people in Medjugorje.
Then when he was elected and became Francis I, he immediately goes to St mary's Cathedral and offers her flowers?
How is this not seen as a fulfillment of Satan appearing as an angel of light leading the beast to elect the eighth papal king? And why am I the only one seeing this?
Search me oh God and know my heart, test me and know my anxious thoughts, see if there is any offensive way in me and lead me to the way everlasting. Amen

Here is the prayer Pope Francis proclaimed to Mary just recently when he dedicated the world to Mary.
PRAYER TO MARY IMMACULATE
Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary Sunday, 8 December 2013
"Virgin most holy and immaculate, to you, the honour of our people, and the loving protector of our city, do we turn with loving trust.
You are all-beautiful, O Mary! In you there is no sin.
Awaken in all of us a renewed desire for holiness: May the splendour of truth shine forth in our words, the song of charity resound in our works, purity and chastity abide in our hearts and bodies, and the full beauty of the Gospel be evident in our lives.
You are all-beautiful, O Mary! In you the Word of God became flesh.
Help us always to heed the Lord’s voice: May we never be indifferent to the cry of the poor, or untouched by the sufferings of the sick and those in need; may we be sensitive to the loneliness of the elderly and the vulnerability of children, and always love and cherish the life of every human being.
You are all-beautiful, O Mary! In you is the fullness of joy born of life with God.
Help us never to forget the meaning of our earthly journey: May the kindly light of faith illumine our days, the comforting power of hope direct our steps, the contagious warmth of love stir our hearts; and may our gaze be fixed on God, in whom true joy is found.
You are all-beautiful, O Mary! Hear our prayer, graciously hear our plea: May the beauty of God’s merciful love in Jesus abide in our hearts, and may this divine beauty save us, our city and the entire world.
Amen."
He says Mary is the protector of their "city" Rome.
"And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth." Rev 17:18
They have made Mary the mother of Jesus out to be the whore of Babylon.
This is the stuff that is supposed to awaken our church to contend with the issue of the state of the dead.
Then why is it I find no one else proclaiming it?
Search me oh God and know my heart, test me and know my anxious thoughts, see if there is any offensive way in me and lead me to the way everlasting. Amen

Then why is it I find no one else proclaiming it? Because you have grossly misinterpreted Mat. 24:28. The prophecy has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with the Jesuit order. Rather this is its true meaning: "the wicked will be utterly consumed and their bones plucked dry and left to rot in the sands of time when I return." Jesus said, "Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth:behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together." In other words, Jesus will pour out the wrath of God specifically and only against the wicked (the spiritually dead, as it were). See Rev. 19:17-21. So much of SDA theology is completely wrong! ///

If you want to understand the prophecy of Matthew 24:28 and Luke 17:37, then you must first understand what birds represent in prophecy.
I suggest the following:
Parable of the sower David and Goliath, speaking to each other before their fight Joseph interpreting the dreams to baker and butler Deuteronomy 28:26 Revelation 18:2
Once you have looked at those passages, and identified the birds in them, I think you will better understand Jesus' words.
Blessings,
Green Cochoa.
We can receive of heaven's light only as we are willing to be emptied of self. We can discern the character of God, and accept Christ by faith, only as we consent to the bringing into captivity of every thought to the obedience of Christ. And to all who do this, the Holy Spirit is given without measure. In Christ "dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in Him." [Colossians 2:9, 10.] {GW 57.1} -- Ellen White.

If you want to understand the prophecy of Matthew 24:28 and Luke 17:37, then you must first understand what birds represent in prophecy.
Once you have looked at those passages, and identified the birds in them, I think you will better understand Jesus' words. " By the Spirit of Inspiration, looking far down the ages, Moses pictured the terrible scenes of Israel’s final overthrow as a nation, and the destruction of Jerusalem by the armies of Rome: “The Lord shall bring a nation against thee from far, from the end of the earth, as swift as the eagle flieth; a nation whose tongue thou shalt not understand; a nation of fierce countenance, which shall not regard the person of the old, nor show favor to the young.” {PP 467.1} The utter wasting of the land and the horrible suffering of the people during the siege of Jerusalem under Titus centuries later, were vividly portrayed: “He shall eat the fruit of thy cattle, and the fruit of thy land, until thou be destroyed.... And he shall besiege thee in all thy gates, until thy high and fenced walls come down, wherein thou trustedst, throughout all thy land.... Thou shalt eat the fruit of thine own body, the flesh of thy sons and of thy daughters, which the Lord thy God hath given thee, in the siege, and in the straitness, wherewith thine enemies shall distress thee.” “The tender and delicate woman among you, which would not adventure to set the sole of her foot upon the ground for delicateness and tenderness, her eye shall be evil toward the husband of her bosom, ... and toward her children which she shall bear: for she shall eat them for want of all things secretly in the siege and straitness, wherewith thine enemy shall distress thee in thy gates.” {PP 467.2} The eagle there is identified by Moses as Rome... "The gospel continued to spread and the number of its adherents to increase. It penetrated into regions that were inaccessible even to the eagles of Rome. Said a Christian, expostulating with the heathen rulers who were urging forward the persecution: You may “kill us, torture us, condemn us.... Your injustice is the proof that we are innocent .... Nor does your cruelty ... avail you.” It was but a stronger invitation to bring others to their persuasion. “The oftener we are mown down by you, the more in number we grow; the blood of Christians is seed.”—Tertullian, Apology, paragraph 50. {GC 41.3} The armies of Rome are who persecuted the saints durring the dark ages and will again. The roman standard that was carried before the armies had an eagle on it above the sun. This is the abomination of desolation that was a sign for those in Jerusalem to flee when Rome encompassed the camp in 70 AD and set up these standards within the Holy precinct. The next time the abomination of desolation appears it will be when America, the new army of Rome will establish the Sunday law.

Where the corpse is the EAGLES (armies of Rome) will gather.
"Perend Ac Cadaver" (as disciplined as a corpse) is the motto of the Jesuits. The eighth king of Revelation 17 is now here and he is a Jesuit. He is the corpse that will martial the eagles of Rome.
This is a faithful witness.
The corpse is pointing to another corpse (Mary) and influencing the whole world to worship her.
There is no way on earth you could come up with a better interpretation of what Jesus meant about the eagles.
The disciples were asking WHEN these things would happen and Jesus gave them a riddle. Where the corpse is, the EAGLES will gather.
Search me oh God and know my heart, test me and know my anxious thoughts, see if there is any offensive way in me and lead me to the way everlasting. Amen
