Gordon has sent me private remarks about this exact subject, saying the same words about my wife which I shared with Daryl yet you deny he was speaking about my wife? You guys deserve each other.

You men have crossed a very ugly line. That's not true. John said that his witness about Jesus was "written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name." (John 2);31) What more do I need. And concerning prophesy, he wrote again saying, "Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy [THE BOOK OF REVELATION], and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near." (Rev. 1:3) Are you now adding greater and unnecessary burdens to those who are coming to Christ? Isn't the Bible enough? Be careful lest you be weighed in the balance and found wanting. ///

Be careful lest you be weighed in the balance and found wanting. /// God saw a need to explain His words fom scripture so we would all be found united in truth, like the day of pentecost when they took the written word and ballanced it with the life of Christ. The written word, it's prophecies and veiled language are explained by the Spirit of Truth in Christ Jesus while He is in the sanctuary. There are things that needed to be supported by the Spirit, to illuminate the intent of the biblical words. Spiritual things are spiritually discerned, not by the intelect of men or traditions of the church. If you reject the counsel that is on your head.

If you reject the counsel that is on your head. The Bible is sufficient. Tell me ONE thing that Ellen White has said that is outside the scope of the Bible. If you cannot, then the Bible is first, foremost and last among the saints of God. However, IF you feel the need to read her perspective on what is already given in the Bible, then you are entitled to do so. It is a private matter of yours which I must respect. ///
