The passage is clear. He shared our heredity except without the taint of sin. We are born with the taint of sin. He wasn't.

He was born without a taint of sin, but came into the world in like manner as the human family.--Letter 97, 1898. {7ABC 453.2}

Tell me what you think the "taint of sin" means to you?

It means sinful propensities, as other quotes make clear.

"fallen but not corrupted". What is a fallen nature? Please explain if you can.

Man's nature has three aspects: physical, intellectual/mental, and spiritual/moral. Adam fell in all three aspects. Jesus was different from Adam (before the fall) in His physical and intellectual nature, but like Adam in His moral/spiritual nature. This is what "fallen, but not corrupted" means. We, OTOH, are different from Adam in all three aspects.

The human nature of Christ was like unto ours. And suffering was really more keenly felt by Him, for His spiritual nature was free from every taint of sin. {CTr 268.6}

So, do you then agree that Christ had our same flesh, our vile body as we do?

Sure I agree! Jesus was different from us in His mind.

And where does the mind reside? In the flesh. No flesh, no mind! Unless you believe in a separate spirit which I don't think you do.

What did Christ come to save us from? A legal penalty? NO.

Christ has redeemed us; our very flesh He has saved at an infinite cost, giving His own flesh for the life of the world. {SpM 209.2}

It is by overcoming the world, the flesh, and the devil that any student comes into possession of that knowledge that gives him access to the tree of life. We must all learn that we must overcome as Christ overcame in our behalf [what did Christ overcome as we must overcome?]. All pride is sin, and must be expelled from the soul. Christ came to cut us loose from the originator of sin. He came to give us a mastery over the power of the destroyer [what is the power of the destroyer?], and to save us from the sting of the serpent [What is the sting of the serpent? - DEATH]. Jones said: He was made in the likeness of sinful flesh. Don't go too far. He was made in the likeness of sinful flesh; not in the likeness of sinful mind. Do not drag His mind into it. His flesh was our flesh; but the mind was "the mind of Christ Jesus."

Even he made a clear distinction between sinful mind and sinful flesh. Do you not agree with the distinction? Do you think that Paul would have been correct had he said, "Let this FLESH be in you which was also in Christ Jesus"?
