Please pray for my mother-in-law. She had a heart attack yesterday afternoon.

Please be with Cathy's mother-in-law that, with Your divine aid, she may recuperate from the heart attack that she had recently. You know both her physical and spiritual needs, therefore, please use this situation for Your glory.

Please intervene in the life of Cathy's mother-in-law.

Bring total healing to her in accordance with Your goodness. We know that You work for the good in every circumstance.

Thankfully, it was determined yesterday that Loren's mother did not have a heart attack after all. Instead, a buildup of a large amount of fluid caused her chest pain - she has had congestive heart failure for several years. They are giving her some medication to control the fluid buildup, and she will probably come home some time today.

Please, be with her in the days ahead and guide the doctors as they try to help her adjust to her CHF.
Give them wisdom as they prepare a treatment for her.

There are certain 'armchair' exercises that can help her CHF.
I watched a program on The Learning Channel that dealt with it.
These exercises are primarilarily non-impact.
Especially designed for elderly and out of shape adults with this disease.
