Hello everyone! I have, unfortunately, just lost my job. Please pray that God will lead me to the job he has in mind for me as I cannot remain unemployed for long. Thank you all for your prayers. I will keep you updated as possible.

Heavenly Father,
Please give Sarah the job You know she needs and that You have for her. Lead her right to it, Lord, so she can be faithful in tithes and offerings to You and pay her bills.

in Jesus' blessed name, amen

Heavenly Father, you know what is best for Sarah and her husband. You have a special work for her. It may not be anything she knows about. Help her to trust in your leading and to follow you wherever you would have her go. Help her to accept your decision Lord.

In Christ's name I pray Amen.

Just wanted to let you know that God hears and answers! He provided for us while I was out of work and has now provided me with a term position until June 2002. That works well with the ending of my husband's education and leaves our options more open in terms of where to go when he is done. God always opens the doors that we need most. I am grateful and full of praise to my Creator, Saviour, Master and King!

To those that are still waiting, have patience and trust in Him to do right by you!

I came across this and thought I would provide a further update - they decided to hire me on permanently at this firm, and I love it there! Praise God from whom all blessings flow!!

Please continue to pray however, as my husband is now the one in desparate need of a job now that his education has come to an end.

Having said that. . . they laid me off because two of our lawyers were appointed judges and therefore they found themselves overstaffed. God, however, never fails us and always keeps His promises! The laid me off on Monday, August 13 and I obtained a new job by Friday, August 16. See how good God is? Now, if only my husband could land a job. He has had many good leads that turned into nothing - one especially told him he was perfect for the position but they wouldn't hire him because he wasn't available on Sabbaths. So, the hunt continues. God will bless and provide and it will be GOOD! Please keep us in your prayers. An unemployed spouse can be the cause of much conflict if not handled properly and understood by both parties. Please pray not only that he will obtain a position, but that I will have the patience to wait upon God and Markell for that time.
