I was traveling this week and we searched for a Adventist church nearby, and after driving around finally found a SDA church and went in. Much to my surprise it was a Caribbean SDA church and just extremely loving island folk. And they had a tremendous Sabbath School with the classes broken into sections in church, and a very nice welcome for the visitors which were many, then regular parts of the service. But the part that brought tears to my eyes was the singing, it was beyond description. I had not heard such enthusiasm and what I can only call joy in praising the Lord with song in a long time. What a wonderful part of the worship, and I didn't notice how long they sang till the pastor got up for the sermon and it was past 1 o'clock and coming up more on 2 o'clock. That's how we will sing praises in song in heaven with no eyes on the clock, just the joy of the Lord in our hearts.
