Does anyone know where I can find the Adventurer Song on the internet? Either words, music, or audio - anything would help at this point! Thanks! While we are at it, does anyone know of a good resource site(s) for children games - vehicle, indoor, outdoor, Christian, etc. Also, perhaps a good resource site(s) for Pathfinders? Thank you everyone!!

Sarah, The ASI program on 3ABN featured a couple who own and operate a company called Bible Games. They manufacture and sell all kinds of Christian games and related goodies. You can find them on the internet at http://www.vozar.com They have contact information listed on the website. Thanks for pointing out the problems Avalee. I have removed the offending period and the indec thing, so the link should work now. [ May 15, 2002: Message edited by: Linda Sutton ]

Hi Linda thank you for the link. I tried and it would not work for me. But I deleted part of it and it took me to the home page and from there was able to get to the link. Don't know why. Tried it about 3 times. http://www.vozar.com/index.html

Linda I could not figure out why I can get to the page with mine and not your link. I found out why... it is the period you have at the end. When I take it out of yours it takes me to it. Funny how one little mark can do that eh?

Thank you, John! Job well done. This goes to show that many hands don't always spoil the broth. I checked out that site and decided to post such a short song here: The Adventurer Song Adventurers for Jesus, We love in ev'ry way. We always try to do our best for Jesus' sake. We'll help our friends and neighbors, Be kind in all we do. We're the Busy Bees, Sunbeams, Builders, Helping Hands too.

Glad to pitch in. :-) Since I work on PCs for a living, speed-searching the web has become 2nd nature, by necessity. I wanted to try & find a sound file of the song, but no dice yet....maybe one's out there somewhere. FWIW -- for my money, Google ( http://www.google.com ) and Teoma ( http://www.teoma.com ) are the two best search engines out there these days. [ May 18, 2002: Message edited by: John ]

Thank you very much John! Our Pathfinders & Adventurers were at the Man/Sask Camporee this past long weekend, and we did very well. We were supposed to lead out in the Pathfinder and Adventurer songs on Sabbath evening, but fortunately for us, they were forgotten about. The Pathfinder song we know, but we heard the Adventurer song for the first time on Sunday night! I would still love to be able to find a sound file for the song - once is not enough to learn the song well! But we have good Adventurers, I'm sure they caught it even if the adults didn't! We had a great time this weekend actually. Our little club is not as little as I thought - we were the largest club there - and we did very well for a first year club! We were in third place and only four points behind a club that included a drill demonstration (worth 10 points), so I am very proud of my Pathfinders. The Adventurers earned 4 honours and had a good start on a 5th honour. It's amazing what taking 6 children out to a campground and putting them all together in tents will do to bond your club! I saw a lot of good things this weekend and a lot of good changes even in such a short time period. I'm proud of them. It was fun. I'm sore and tired but happy. Of course, I'm wishing I had at least this morning off work - I could have slept at least another hour or two and I shudder to think of all the work I have to do when I get home to get my apartment into some semblance of order! Anyway, thanks again John. I'll be checking out that link as soon as I can!
