SDA Forums Activity Report

Here is an activity report on how we are doing in comparison to the other SDA forums all according to the rating given by alexis.com: #1 - MSDAOL with a rating of 51,639.
#2 - VOAF with a rating of 54,450.
#3 - Club Adventist with a rating of 110,290.
#4 - TRO with a rating of 352,502.
#5 - THE LAST WORD ON ADVENTIST TRUTH with a rating of 487,775. The new non-denominational S-N-T forum has a rating of 198,507. The totally non-SDA Theology OnLine forum now has a rating of 399,86. Note: We are unable to track David Battler's new SDA forum as it isn't being operated under a private domain name. We may be one of the smaller of the SDA forums, however, we now seem to be the most active of all the forums listed here, whether SDA or non-SDA. How that can be is beyond me, however, that is how it shows. I would like to take this time to thank you all for your active participation in the various forums of Maritime SDA OnLine. What do these numbers mean? Answer: As I understand it, MSDAOL with a rating of 51,639 means that MSDAOL is the 51,639th website in activity of all the websites. Somebody has a rating of 1 which means that whoever is the number one website in activity of all websites. The numbers are based on the number of visits or activity on any particular website. This is all according to alexa.com where I believe you can verify what I posted here.

I didn't realize that anyone kept track of forum activities, for forums that operate under a public domain name. I could keep track of how many people come to my forum, but I am not sure why I would want to yet. I think it's kind of fun to not know these numbers, and just wait and see what happens each day.

I may be late for this question, but does that mean the smaller the number, the more activity? I saw about a year ago the forum traffic numbers and saw that we were quite high compared to other forums. Later I learned that the lower the number, the better. Are there numbers for other SDA sites like ADRA or adventist.org listed?

Yes. The lower the number, the better in activity rating. I can also check and post the ratings for other SDA sites.

adventist.org has a rating of 35,938. adra.org has a not so good rating of 873,381. sdacc.org is way up there in the low side of the activity scale showing 1,651,728. Remember that the higher the numbers, the lower the activity. ont-sda.org has a rating of 1,305,008 which is actually better than the sdacc.org site. In comparison, with the exception of the adventist.org site, practically all of the SDA forums are doing much better in activity. [ May 25, 2002: Message edited by: Daryl Fawcett ]
