Yes, as you already know, I am so thankful that you and your "crew" had a safe productive trip. I have already told one of my Juniors about your trip, and will relate it to the rest tomorrow. I would like to read your post to the church, but not sure I can be worked into the schedule tomorrow. The Juniors will be really interested in getting the letters.

We also have a birthday card on the way to your wife, which may not make it until her next birthday! But, I know she will like it whenever she does get it.

I had to reorder one of the books I had ordered for you. Also, I am looking for another book, "Under Sealed Orders," the story of Gus Youngberg. Part of his missionary work was in Dusun country.

Also, I need to find out more about the Bibles. Is it funds you need for buying Malay Bibles, or for translating, or what? I have forgotten, and others may not remember, so please refresh our minds on what you need.

You may get all of them by Christmas!
I suppose the waiting gives more patience. Waiting is not easy for me!

Well, actually we need funds for us to buy the smuggled Indonesian (remember? their are no such thing as Malay Bibles) Bibles from the source that I found. The Dusun can read about 90% of the Indonesian Bibles, as it is almost the same langauge.They are smuggled through the jungles to a river town.

My daughter has offered to supply the few English readers (mostly elders and pastors) with good English study Bibles. She gave a $50 one away to a brother in Sabah; she just brought it here for herself to start using, and had only marked Romans. The brother had just made us a rattan Bible (see this month's Telegraph, coming in the mail.)

Her quick generousity really impressed the Dusun. Now she will be sending more from Europe!
