quote: "In defiance of Lutheran doctrine, active homosexuals have been appointed pastors at three congregations, including one in Minneapolis.
"The Rev. Jennifer Mason, 41, will be installed Sunday at Central City Lutheran Mission in San Bernardino, followed on May 2 with Hollywood Lutheran Church's installation of the Rev. Daniel M. Hooper, 56, and ceremonies July 25 for the Rev. Jay Wiesner, 30, at Bethany Lutheran Church in Minneapolis.
"The move defies the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America's rule against active homosexuals in ordained ministry."

It seems strange to me that churches would go ahead and put these people into leadership positions when they are living directly contrary to the Bible. How could God's Holy Spirit speak through them to the people?
And if someone is caught in sin in their church, how could they discipline that member when they themselves live in sin?

Actually, we shouldn't be surprised; these are the coldest of the cold organizations who falsly claim the holy title "Protestant". They protest nothing. Think about it:
Methodists were the first org. that was shown the complete Three Angels Messages by the living Messenger, EGW, and soundly and completely rejected the Light. What has happened to them is the natural result.
Episcopal and Luthern are both European State religions, full of pomp and "higher critcism" and are virtually popeless Catholics in dogma and worldview. Calvinistic and self-oriented, they do no evangelism. They have no message to the world.
It is no surprise to me they have drifted this far.
