SP1 --> Internet Explorer 6 Service Pack 1, which is the current version. You can tell which version you're running by going into IE, selecting 'Help > About Internet Explorer', then looking under the 'Update Versions' section. If it says SP1, then you're running the most current version. If not, you need to go to Windows Update and get it. http://www.windowsupdate.microsoft.com SP1 will be under 'Critical Updates' if it's determined that you need it. If you're already running SP1, then you might want to run the Repair routine for IE. Go into Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel, and you should see an item for "Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 Service Pack 1 and Internet Tools", or something similar. Select it, then click on the Add/Remove button. Then at the next dialog box, select the radio button for 'Repair Internet Explorer', and click OK. This will repair IE, restore missing files/settings/etc. It'll most likely call for a reboot of your computer when finished. After doing that, you can check and see if you can view Flash animations. If not, you might need to go to the Macromedia site again, and see if the Flash player needs updating again -- performing a Repair on IE can necessitate reinstalling a few components in some cases.

Zita,
Thanks so much for sharing that website with us. It is very uplifting!
Up to a few years ago, we lived on Guam where the bird population has been severely decimated by the brown tree snakes. After we moved to Hawaii, I can still recall the first morning when we were awakened by the sound of song-birds. It was something that we had not heard for many years.
We have truly grown to appreciate this special gift that God has given to us for our enjoyment and encouragement.
Thanks again.

I dont know about having an aviary near my house on the new earth - - I want birds to fly in and out of my house at will. So my entire abode will be an aviary. Birds are so freaky. --Ðøug 2004.4.17.1.25.42 PT

I don't know it you enjoy jigsaws like I do, and one site on here I love is jigzone.com When I have done a puzzle, I then do a search and learn about the bird. In heaven, we won't need the puzzle first! they will be right there around us. In our perfect state, we won't even mind the whirring of wings! Today's puzzle was on the Mandarin duck. Here is the site I looked at. http://www.gotouring.com/birds/mandarinduck.htmlOne of the masterpieces of creation. Enjoy

I hope I'm not too off topic here but we live way out in the Country and in the Spring we hear the frogs all croaking loudly in the early evening. We got to bed with their songs singing...then later in the summer, perhaps even starting in mid-summer, the frogs seem to go to sleep and instead we hear the crickets singing when we go to bed--thousands and thousands of them!!!
How many of you can remember sleeping outside in the summertime and hearing the frogs or crickets? I sure do!!
We wouldn't trade these experiences for any city home or apartment. I look forward to wonderful things such as this in Heaven.

Debbie, there is a frog called the tree whistler, and they do live in trees, very tiny frog, but you wouldn't want them around your house as the noise they generate would keep you awake all night!
Won't it be wonderful not to have the need of averies in heaven? The birds will have no fear - no one will know fear in heaven, so these beautiful creatures, and I think of the Amazon birdlife, the colourful birds we only see pictures of, beautiful parrots to enjoy without the fear of them flying away.
This winter I have seen a lot of wax-eyes in my garden, they are the smallest of birds and I do enjoy them. We have a wonderful variety of birds here in New Zealand, not the colourful ones that some counteries enjoy, but nevertheless, beautiful in their own right.

For all you chickadee lovers out there, here's a story: Study: Chickadee Song Warns of Danger http://abcnews.go.com/Technology/wireStory?id=877042Simply amazing -- some even tell the difference in danger of specific owl types in their song! But about the only distinguishing thing we humans get to hear are the number of dee-dee's - the more there are the greater the danger.
