If anyone has any interesting bird sites to share, I would love them to be posted here. I really enjoyed viewing this one. Make sure your speakers are turned on! http://www.cryofthespirit.com/birdsing.html

Thanks Zita, that was just beautiful. I love the birds. I have bird feeders and must admit I spoil the birds around my house with lots of sunflower seeds...when I'm late getting their food out to them, they will all congregate and talk loudly to get my attention.
If they can't get my attention that way, they will actually come to the kitchen window where I am working and flutter in front of the window looking at me as if to say "Where's breakfast???" Several will do it until I finally get the message and go give them their cupful of sunflower seeds...
In heaven, I plan to have an avery close by my house.

I think my cat enjoyed that as much as I did. She jumped up in my lap and asked, "Where are those sounds coming from?"

We've actually had out cat jump at our TV screen because of the bird pictures on it. We have several Sabbath videos of beautiful music with nature pictures (Edgemont) and we thought it was funny that the cat was watching TV with us and then got excited when the pictures of the birds came on.
Fortunately my bird feeders are up high where our cat cannot get them. He's too fat to jump up that high anyway!

John, thanks for sharing the Webshots bird site. I always enjoy Webshots photos - so clear. Wasn't the hummingbird with the daffodils a neat shot!
Sometimes when I hang the millet sprays on the inside wire of the avery the wild birds come and try and get as much as they can! My avery birds are fasinated by these 'outside' birds.
I can actually let my cat in the avery - he is more interest in mice than birds!

Guess what everybody? I can't open up that singing birds site either. All I see is a blank white screen with Home and counter information appearing at the bottom of the screen. Maybe, I need to reset or change some options on my IE browser? ====== Spelling correction only. - Daryl [ April 12, 2004, 07:46 PM: Message edited by: Daryl Fawcett ]
