When I think of what has happened in New Orleans, it makes me think of what God warned of for our own church. If God is angry with cities like New Orleans, do we realize that we as Seventh Day Adventists have had more light than anybody has ever had?
"For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more." Luke 12:48
Jesus said that Capernaum that had great light, would be brought down to hell and that it would be more tolerable for Sodom than for them, because of that. Think of what that means for us, verses New Orleans. I view this as a time when we should be thinking of it as God speaking to EVERYBODY, including US... not only to go out and tell people the Three Angel's messages while there is time, but also to get our own lives together and ready for the Judgment.

Chapter Title: God's Last Day Church
Of those who boast of their light and yet fail to walk in it Christ says, "But I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the day of judgment than for you. And thou, Capernaum [Seventh-day Adventists, who have had great light], which art exalted unto heaven [in point of privilege], shalt be brought down to hell: for if the mighty works which have been done in thee had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day."--RH Aug. 1, 1893.[4.
