But Tom, the knowledge that we died instantly if we sinned is not in it self selfishness. It is just a knowledge based on our experience, same as Adam knew that if he sin he would die, only he has no experience of his own, what makes him still take his own choice and sinned.
We knew that sin caused death and Christ had saved us, therefore, this knowledge doesn’t make us fear to sin, just knowledge. We could not sin because of our agape’s hearts ruled our life and we might see the holes at Jesus hands as a memory of the cross.
The memory that sin causes death in the past and Christ had saved us is enough to block us from sinning again, not because of fear but because of love.

What the real problem is about sin is that could we live a sinless holy life till the day of our 1st death? Is it real about sinless life or is it not? Should it be our problem or not? Shall we take it seriously or not?

This agrees with what I was saying.
No one in heaven will have a desire to sin because no one will want to do anything which would cause God pain.
Those who wait for the Bridegroom's coming are to say to the people, "Behold your God." The last rays of merciful light, the last message of mercy to be given to the world, is a revelation of His character of love.

James S Unquote.
What the real problem is about sin is that could we live a sinless holy life till the day of our 1st death? I don’t think we could. Is it real about sinless life or is it not? I doubt it.
Should it be our problem or not? Shall we take it seriously or not?
It is our problem and we should take it seriously because the Scripture said: Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God – Matthew 5:8, and “Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives” 1 Peter 2:11.
But, we ought to live holy and godly live doesn’t give a guarantee that we might become sinless. We did sin in the past and the sin remained in our members till the day we receive a new body without sin at the sound of the last trumpet at Jesus 2nd coming.
The sanctification process I think is not an instant change and remained so till our dead. We are justified to enter heaven and live eternally at the Judgment day not because of our sinless holy life but because of our faith, for against the Law which judge us, we are all sinners.
(Do I sound pessimistic)?
