TV: If I owned the restaurant, I would be the one deciding such things, I'd propably rest it all on sabbaths? Why? The most honest answer is, I think, my adventist upbringing.
MM: Yeah, I know what you mean. Hopefully, though, you can answer someday with - Because I believe it's what Jesus would do.

One of our members ran a restaurant and faithfully closed the restaurant on Sabbath, another Adventist that owned a McDonalds on the beach would turn it over to his partners to run on the Sabbath. So each person has to decide.....

One of our members ran a restaurant and faithfully closed the restaurant on Sabbath, another Adventist that owned a McDonalds on the beach would turn it over to his partners to run on the Sabbath. So each person has to decide..... Was one more righteous than the other?

If you are trying to judge the brother......
In these issues its always best to show them what scripture says and let the Holy Spirit do its work. Those who reject the urgings of the Holy Spirit usually end up going in another direction and make it clear they dont have love or care about if their brother is offended by what they do......
Romans 14:21
It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak.

Right, and that is where the Holy Spirit allows you to discern my friend, so you can save your brother or sister from spiritual harm.....
